Kitten Care | The First Few Days |

Kitten Care | The First Few Days |

Today we will talk about things you should remember when bringing a kitten home. How to care for it, and what to avoid?
Many people make common mistakes and then complain that the breeder deceived them.                                                                                                                                                                      The first thing you should do is let the kitten adjust to its new surroundings. Do not disturb him and go wherever he does. The kitten will probably be very stressed due to being kept away from its parents. People usually complain that the kitten is upset, but that's normal and should be the case. Give it lots of toys and spend time with it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Another essential point is to introduce any other cats/kittens you have slowly (with time). Place the new kitten in an empty room with no other animal in it.                                                                                                                                      Also, ask the breeder what food the kitten typically eats. There are different cat food brands, so make sure you give the kitten the food it is used to, and after a few months, when it is adjusted to your house, you can change its food around. Change diet slowly with time. Furthermore, don't give it anything other than what the breeder has said. Milk should not be given to the kitten because it will become ill. Cats can only drink their mother's milk or special kitten milk. Cow milk or any other milk will make it very sick, and its stomach will be upset.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Additionally, you need to ensure there's a litter box readily available for the kitten to use. You can use any container or basket really in which the kitten has enough space to do its business. Make sure it is in a private place because that's how our cats like it! Put in suitable quality litter and regularly clean with a scoop. Due to stress, your kitten may stop using its litter box, even though it's training. However, once it has adapted to its new home, it will likely start using it again. Don't worry, just give it time!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Groom the kitten regularly. Brush its hair. You can get specially brushed for cats and dogs or use a standard (gentle) brush. Also, food should be placed in a steel bowl and given to the kitten. Plastic bowls can result in many problems.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        You'll need these basic things when bringing a new kitten into your home. Remember, food and litter can never be compromised.
