Differences Between A Male And Female Cat | Which One Should You Get? |
Hi guys! Today I will discuss the pros and cons of both male and female cats. By the end, you should know which one you want to get depending on you!
Disclaimer: Every cat is different, and its behaviour varies.
Let's start off with female cats. An advantage of getting a female cat is that it will have children. Now, if you want to start a cat business, getting a female cat will be suitable for you. Another advantage is that although all cats are adorable, female cats tend to be cuter than male cats because of their facial structure. Furthermore, female felines are much calmer than male cats. So if you want a cat that's not always running around, going crazy, a female cat will be better for you. However, a male cat will be befitting if you want a cat that's always playing and fighting. Getting two male cats may mean they are always fighting, but female cats will eventually adjust with time. Heat cycles in female cats may cause disturbance because they are disturbed themselves and shout. Also, bone weight is less in a female cat than in a male cat. Female cats will weigh less than male cats.
Now, let's talk about male cats. They tend to have a heavier bone structure, and if you give them good food, their facial structure becomes cute and adorable. A disadvantage of keeping a male cat is they fight with other male cats. Keeping a father and son or brother and a brother will also result in fights but not as bad as having two random male cats. Male cats become grumpy and rude as they become adults, but again, behaviour varies in each cat. I'll give you an example. My friend bought a 3-month-old female kitten. She was expecting it to be very troubled by being away from its parents, but the kitten was very playful.
Another example is that cats are usually troubled whilst travelling in a vehicle. The same female kitten is not bothered by travelling, whereas her male kitten is constantly meowing and very stressed. Maybe her female kitten is just very laidback and easy-going. I point out that each cat has its own personality, so don't always trust what you hear! Go with your instinct!
