Why Do Cats Run Away And Leave Home?

Why Do Cats Run Away And Leave Home?

Today's topic is critical because we take so much care of our kitties, but one little mistake can make our cats run away and leave us.

The first reason your cat may run away is that you aren't providing them with a partner. They will then try running away because they can hear and smell other cats outside. Remember, cats have a way better sense of smell etc. than humans.

Secondly, your cat may run away because you take your cats outside all the time, into parks etc. If you have an indoor cat, keep it indoors because your cat will want to go out all the time. It'll become a habit.

Another reason your cat may flee is that it is stressed. Sometimes, your cat may hide in the house because it is troubling. If a guest comes over, some cats get frightened and hide somewhere, e.g. under the fridge, behind the couch etc. Cats can panic over all sorts of things. For example, it may run away if it sees another animal, like a goat or cow. Make sure you are aware of hazards around your cat and try to keep them away as much as possible.

Lastly, I'd like to mention that most people think cats are disloyal. This is not the case, in my opinion. Obviously, if you don't provide them with something they need (as part of nature), don't expect them to stay. Why shouldn't it run away if you aren't taking care of your pet?

Please take care of your pets!! Some people leave them on the streets, and the poor think their owners will return and wait for them. Make sure you are fulfilling all of your pet's needs. Otherwise, don't get a pet at all!!
