Is Raw Meat Good Or Bad For Our Cats?

Is Raw Meat Good Or Bad For Our Cats?

Today I will be talking about meat and whether you can give it to your cat or not. In this blog, ill be sharing all precautions you must be aware of.

A lot of people ask whether you can give your cats meat. The answer is, of course! Meat is a basic need in a cat's diet. You can also share your cat chicken, mutton, beef and even slaughtered meat.

Some people ask what part of slaughter meat you can give your cat. The answer to that is almost every part. You can even give them any details you personally don't eat. The main precaution is don't give them a lot of drippings/fat. So, for example, if you have 1kg meat, add only 50 to 100 gm dripping (otherwise, it can be harmful and cause problems).

Another common question is can we give chicken and mutton to our kitties. Indeed, you should provide at least one small piece of chicken to your cat daily. I have a blog about homemade cat food, which is cheap, healthy and easy to make. Remember that mutton is quite heavy, so add a small amount.

If your cat has never had meat before. Introduce it to it slowly so that it doesn't suffer from loose motion and vomiting.

If your cat is eating raw meat in its routine already, then that's very good. Don't switch instantly if it isn't. Make sure the heart is cleaned thoroughly. You will notice your cat's health increasing. Another thing ill mention here is that if your cat is around 7 to 10 years old, don't give it raw meat, mutton, or even beef. To them, it's heavy and can be dangerous. Also, you can provide camel meat to your cats but in a minimal amount. Remember, don't give heart to aged cats.
