I love animals and have dealt with many of them, whether they are goats, chickens, rabbits, doves or even vibrant and colourful parrots. No, I don't own a zoo or a farm...people around me love animals! Cats are hands down my favourite. It is pretty straightforward having a cat around. You need only two essential things to get right, and you'll be good to go!

Number one is food. Cats have a specific meal that they are used to. We CAN change their food, but they will take time getting used to it. You can make a homemade meal for your cat or buy ready-made meals at your local supermarket. Treats are used to train cats. Whether it may be litter training or giving them a name and making sure they come to you when the name is called out.

Number two is litter. I firmly believe cats aren't as hard as other animals to keep. They go to their litter tray when needed, and you can scoop out their waste after they are done. There may be times accidents happen, but if the cat is well trained, it will always go to its litter tray. Also, remember that the cat should always have food and water available! Oh, and also the litter tray/box, so there's no disappointment later!
